Salobre Golf Club is situated in a typical landscape of the southern part of the island, with ravines, volcanic earth, views of mountains and sea. The lush scenery and green gardens are in stark contrast with the desert surroundings.
The natural features of the landscape and the indigenous vegetation have played an important part in the success of this golf course.
Echoing with the common characteristic of the Gran Canarian countryside, more than 600 species of plants and trees have been established to give beauty to the area. Salobre currently has a par 71, 18-hole course occupying a six-kilometre area and a second course is under construction.
Its facilities include a golf school, practice area, driving-range, putting green, club hire, hydro-massage, valet parking, pro-shop and a restaurant with terrace.
