Located in El Puerto de Santa Marķa on the Sanlucar road, Golf El Puerto is a sublime 18 hole championship-standard golf course that is fit to test the lowest handicapper without striking too much fear into those less able.
The golf course has come a long, long way since it opened in 2001. Indeed, it has matured with such impressive pace that, to the untold eye, it looks as though it has been established for some time.
There are four sets of tees, allowing the course to play to anything from 4,925 metres (red tees) to 6,410 metres (white tees).
The course is surrounded by streams, bunkers and lakes but the fairways are wide enough to allow you to stand on the tee with a driver in your hands and not feel as though you require the skills of a top professional to find a fairway.
