The oldest golf course ion the Costa del Sol was opened in 1925 by the Spanish royal family and was designed the noted golf architect Tom Simpson who was also responsible for the designs at Muirfield and Turnberry in Scotland.
Set right on the beach you have magnificent views of the Mediterranean and the fairways are wide for the big hitters. Beware if the breeze gets up as this can easily catch you out. On some fairways the trees can interfere and you will need to position your golf ball accordingly
