THE EAST COURSE Opened in 1996 the East Course quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest golf courses in Ireland. Just 2 years after opening, it hosted the Smurfit Irish PGA Championship and in 2001 was the venue for the AIB European Senior Tour. Following the contours of this mature and historic landscape, the talented golfer and successful Walker cup captain Peter McEvoy designed a testing and rewarding challenge for all levels of golfers. Like the East Course, the West offers a variety of challenging holes while presenting a new perspective on the stunning scenery of the Powerscourt Estate. Possessing the highest standard of tees, greens and fairways you’ll find anywhere in the country and can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. West Course Details: Parkland Course with links characteristics 6345 mtrs (championship tees) Green fee is available every day. BAR AND RESTAURANT The clubhouse facilities comprise a full bar and restaurant with a variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar food menus available every day. Should you not be playing golf, the restaurant is still open to visitors 7 days a week. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for.
