The well renowned Ballykisteen Golf & Country Club is an 18 hole Par 72 Championship course. It was designed in 1991 by Ex European Tour & Ryder Cup star Des Smyth & Associates. Set in breathtaking scenic surroundings and with lakes and streams featuring on 12 holes Ballykisteen is sure to be memorable as both a challenging and beautiful course.
The signature island green on the 17th and the long, over water 18th give the course two of the most challenging finishing holes in Ireland. However the tee set up allows the course to be friendly to all grades of leisure golfers whilst still allowing a challenge for the lower handicapper.
At the end of a round of golf, members and residents can enjoy a relaxing drink and the magnificent views from the BallyK Club Bar situated on the first floor of the hotel. The pro shop attached to the hotel is fully equipped to meet the needs of all golfers. Golf lessons are available from our resident Golf Professional, James Harris, and golf buggies, electronic and manual trolleys are available for hire.
