Located 17km south of Porto, the course, an authentic links, is relatively short (5,668 meters for a Par 71). The courses narrow fairways are the main obstacles, starting out with a difficult Par 4. One of the most challenging holes is the fabulous 11th Par 5 measuring some 494 meters.
